The Experience
You
Providing a joyful experience for my clients is a central tenet of our sessions. Sure, you are paying us to create fabulous and memorable images of you, images you will treasure for a long time, and that is what you will receive too, but we aim to make sure that the process of making the images is as memorable too. This is the one day when you will rock, be the center of attention, get pampered and be the focus of the team – the photographers (us), the studio assistant, the makeup artist and stylist.
Our clients are often unsure if they are photogenic and we tell them unequivocally that they are. You are beautiful right now, not tomorrow, or next week, or after you have shed a few pounds. You are beautiful as you are. We have a team working for you, to apply makeup, style you, provide you with posing guidance and direction, creating the most flattering lighting for you, the most unique mood, and the end result of this will be unique images that will not only express who you are but will show you in new light (pun intended).
We have had the privilege of shooting beautiful people – each one of you equally beautiful. The most rewarding part of our career is to see a nervous and unsure client enter a session and the same person emerge radiant and beaming at the end. The process of this transformation is magical. Before the Session – the Consultation
The first step is to book a ‘no obligation’ consultation with us. You may do this easily by clicking on the ‘Book a Consultation’ button or using the menu option at the top of this page. We will send you some information about the studio and the session and you are free to respond with any questions you may have which we will be happy to answer. If you want, we can arrange a phone or zoom call. During the call we will ask you questions and understand what you are looking to get out of the session and the images. You will be able to ask us any questions you may have too.
After this if you decide to move ahead with booking us for a session, we will coordinate to find session times that will work for us as well as the makeup artist and stylist.
We use an independent and professional makeup and styling service. Professional makeup and hair are optional but recommended for most our sessions. We have seen too many dissatisfied clients with other photographers whose images turned out less than ideal because of defects in makeup or styling. This is the one day you want to look your best because we will capture images which you will (hopefully) treasure for the rest of your life. We work with carefully curated and very talented artists who provide excellent service at very reasonable and below market rates.
The Session
This is your day – the day when you’re the center of the Universe! Once you arrive and have settled down comfortably our makeup artist and stylist will pamper you for the next 1 to 2 hours (depending on the type of the session) to make you look and feel your best. Feel free to bring photos and other suggestions for looks you may want.
Now it is time for your first look. We will spend the next 1 – 2 hours (depending on the session type) shooting with various looks and wardrobe changes. During each step we will coach and guide you and be your cheerleader. We are experts at posing and we can pose every body type. We will give you directions while shooting, between shooting, and depending on the number of looks included in the session you may do wardrobe changes. Don’t worry, we will consult with you during the session planning stage on what outfits to bring.
While the makeup artist and stylist will usually leave after working on you and before the start of the session you have the option to retain them throughout the shoot to provide touchups as required. There is an extra hourly if you want this service.
Getting Your Images
Your digital images will be ready for proofing in 1 – 2 weeks. Depending on the session type and the packages you purchase we may do an in person or online reveal and proofing so that you may order your luxury products. Our repertoire of luxury products includes edited and retouched digital images, high quality prints, wall hanging products as well as luxury albums.
Our Style
Our specialty is creative portraiture. The literal translation of the word ‘photography’ from Greek is ‘drawing with light.’ Light plays a central role in all of photography and a deep understanding of how to manipulate light is essential to creating superb images. We specialize in creating and shaping light and with my top-of-the-line studio equipment can create unique moods and atmospheres to reflect your personality. If you want, we can even use theatrical equipment like hazes, fog machines, etc. to create atmosphere. We are also adept at using gels to create color. Types of Session We Offer
Headshots
Step into the spotlight of professionalism with our tailored headshot photography sessions, where every image is a reflection of your unique brand and individuality. We will create headshots that not only meet industry standards but also capture the essence of your confidence, approachability, and personal style.
Immerse yourself in an atmosphere of sophistication and creativity as we collaborate to curate a session that aligns with your professional identity. We approach each headshot session with attention to detail, ensuring that every aspect of your image is carefully considered. Whether it’s the perfect angle, lighting, or your unique expressions, we aim to create headshots that reflect the distinctive qualities that set you apart.
We offer two types of headshot sessions: a mini session as well as a standard session. The mini session is used primarily for business or corporate purposes, e.g., if you are looking for a digital image for your online business profile, or to print on a business card. It is a session with a single look and includes a digitally edited and retouched final image.
The standard headshot session, often called ‘glam’ headshot, includes up to 4 looks. You may change your outfit between looks. This type of session is often used in the creative fields, e.g., for submission to actor portfolios, opera or Broadway singers, and for many other reasons. Two digitally edited and retouched images are included in the session price and you may purchase additional finished images if you want to.
Portraits

We offer individual, couples as well as family portrait sessions. We have two studios, a traditional studio with a standard seamless paper background and a lifestyle studio with a sofa, chair and ottoman and various types of furniture and backgrounds. We are able to utilize both studios to create a variety of atmosphere for your images – from formal to lifestyle.
The mini portrait session consists of one look and includes one digitally edited and retouched image. The standard session is up to 4 looks and will include two digitally edited and retouched images with the option to purchase more.
We also offer premium packages including more looks and one additional finished image is included for each additional look you purchase.
You may also want to reconsider purchasing some of our luxury products – albums, prints and wall art – to display your images. We have samples you can look at during your visit.
Dating Profile Photos

Our mini dating profile package includes three finished images while the standard one includes five. We offer premium packages including more finished images.
You want to show yourself in everyday environments on your dating profile so your images will be of a lifestyle variety. You will receive will a mixture of various types of photos – headshots, full length as well as partial body. We will capture you in various poses and engaged in different activity.
Maternity

We offer standard and premium maternity packages which differ in the length of the session and the number of digital finished images included. The standard package includes 3 looks and one finished digital image for each look while the premium package includes 5 looks and up to 16 digital images and includes a luxury album. Our luxury albums are finely crafted lay-flat products with various types of cover including genuine leather, leatherette, crystal, silk, wood, metal, etc. we will show you samples during your visit.
Boudoir

We will create and shape light in unique ways using our top-of-the-line lighting equipment and modifiers. We may create startling colors, unique shadows or even theatrical atmosphere. The possibilities are endless. This is a non-traditional session that few studios have the know-how and technology to offer.
